The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) has appointed Chris Collier to serve as Chief Policy Advisor to oversee the organization’s legislative advocacy efforts.

Collier is a veteran of California politics. In 2008, he founded Rincon Strategies, to focus on crafting strategy and navigating complex public policy issues for clients across the state.

He and his team successfully manage both candidate and issue campaigns from statewide to local. Over the last 10 years, Collier has worked on over 100 political races from statewide and has successfully elected candidates in almost every major media market in the state.

In the public affairs space, he works on energy, transportation, water and land use issues with key corporate clients.

In 2015 Collier was named ’40 under 40′ by the Pacific Coast Business Times. In 2018, he was recognized for his work in co-founding ThomasFireHelp.org, a non-profit organization that connected help with need to help fire and mudslide victims and launched and coordinated the Montecito Airlift to shuttle doctors, patients and critical personnel between Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties with volunteer air service.

Collier graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Business Administration and has a Masters in Public Policy & Administration from California Lutheran University.
