The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) has announced that its President and CEO, Brandon Marley, has successfully graduated from the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) Academy. The graduation ceremony was held on Thursday, February 8 during the annual W.A.C.E. conference in Anaheim.

The W.A.C.E. Academy, established in 2003, is a comprehensive three-year program focused on chamber management essentials tailored for today’s chamber executives and professional staff. Recognized as one of the premier training programs exclusively dedicated to chamber professionals in the Western region, the academy provides high-quality education and fosters professional development.

Founded in 1924, W.A.C.E. has played a pivotal role in supporting the growth and advancement of chamber of commerce professionals, offering essential management assistance for new chamber executives and staff. Over the years, W.A.C.E. membership has evolved to symbolize access to a valuable network of seasoned chamber executives, providing exposure to emerging trends and practical ideas across all aspects of chamber of commerce management. In 1995, the association expanded its reach beyond California, transitioning to the W.A.C.E.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Brandon Marley stated, “I’m incredibly proud to have officially graduated from the W.A.C.E. Academy. This program has been invaluable to my professional growth throughout my career with the Chamber. It not only serves as a crucial educational resource but also facilitates meaningful connections and idea-sharing among chamber executives. Continued education remains a top priority for our team, and I look forward to witnessing more of our team members follow in my footsteps.”
