Nearly one year after the devastating intentional act of terrorism that shook the community and destroyed multiple buildings at American Reproductive Centers (ARC), the organization is taking a powerful step forward in its journey of recovery and renewal.
American Reproductive Centers held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 4 for its new, state-of-the-art reproductive health facility and surgical center at its original Palm Springs location at 1199 N Indian Canyon Drive. The milestone marks a significant moment in the center’s redevelopment and its unwavering commitment to the patients and families it serves.
The new facility represents a transformational reinvestment in infrastructure, advanced medical technology, and expanded patient capacity, positioning ARC as a leading force in the next generation of reproductive healthcare. Designed to be among the most advanced of its kind, the center will integrate cutting-edge clinical capabilities with a modern, patient-focused environment.

Dr. Maher Abdallah (center in black suit) celebrates the groundbreaking with colleagues and city of Palm Springs leaders.
“It has been an extraordinary and challenging year, and I could not be more proud to reach this milestone in the rebuilding of ARC,” said Dr. Maher Abdallah, Founder and Medical Director. “The outpouring of support from our community has been nothing short of remarkable. There is no place we would rather rebuild this state-of-the-art center than here at home, where our roots are and where our commitment remains strongest.”
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together community leaders, partners, and supporters in a shared expression of resilience, unity, and forward momentum. Upon completion, the new ARC facility will stand as a symbol of strength and innovation, continuing its mission to provide world-class fertility care and support individuals and families on their path to parenthood.
The new center will bring together a state-of-the-art fertility center, a first-of-its-kind IVF lab, expanded patient services, and enhanced operational capabilities within a single purpose-built facility. Designed with patients and care teams in mind, the center will also feature best-in-class safety and security infrastructure to support a secure, efficient, and high-quality care environment.
The new building is planned as a two-story, 19,347-square-foot medical office on a 1.79-acre site, with a 9,430-square-foot surgery center on the ground floor and a 9,883-square-foot OB/GYN and fertility center on the second floor. The building is designed to reach a maximum height of 30 feet, consistent with nearby medical and office buildings, and will include screened rooftop equipment behind parapet walls.
American Reproductive Centers is a premier fertility and reproductive medicine center headquartered in Palm Springs. Under the leadership of Maher Abdallah, ARC delivers state-of-the-art treatments, including IVF and advanced reproductive procedures, with a focus on innovation, discretion, and personalized patient care. The center is dedicated to achieving exceptional outcomes while providing a supportive, patient-centered experience for individuals and families worldwide.
