Wilson Meade Commercial Real Estate held its Annual Award Luncheon recently honoring many of its agents in a record-setting year for the firm. The top honor of Broker of the Year went to Partner Noel Ramos who also garnered the prestigious Platinum Award for his 2021 efforts.
Ramos was part of the original team that made up Wilson Meade Commercial Real Estate when it first launched in November 2017. With more than 20-years in the industry, he has worked at many of the leading commercial real estate offices in the Coachella Valley garnering recognition and awards as a top broker in commercial real estate throughout his career.
In 2021 Ramos’ transactions touched on nearly all industries of commercial real estate, including industrial, retail, office, land, and the growing local cannabis industry. There were many highlights in the 30 transactions Ramos completed for the year. Among the sale highlights were the $4.5 million sale of Park View Plaza in Palm Desert, and the $3 million sale of a 13,200 square foot industrial building in Thousand Palms.
In leasing, Ramos brokered the expansion of all three locations of the local chain of Fit in 42 gyms in the Coachella Valley, taking Indio Square, a 45,662 square foot neighborhood marketplace, from 20% occupancy to 99% occupancy, and taking Ramon Plaza in Cathedral City, a 70,131 square foot neighborhood marketplace, from 62% occupancy to 96% occupancy.
“2021 was a special year for me,” said Ramos. “I benefited from a robust market that aligned perfectly with the vast knowledge and experience I’ve accumulated in over 20 years. I employed a philosophy that I would be available to my clients at all hours of the day so I could act on their interests. This type of work ethic is important as these are life impacting endeavors clients are undertaking that impact their livelihoods, dreams, ambitions, and family. I owed them my best effort.”
