The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural State of Healthcare program on March 4 at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas, bringing together top healthcare executives and local business leaders for a forward-looking discussion on the future of healthcare in Greater Palm Springs.

The event, titled “Shaping Healthcare Today and Tomorrow – Vision, Strategy, AI and a Global Perspective,” will feature executive leadership from Eisenhower Health and explore how innovation, workforce development, and emerging technologies are reshaping healthcare delivery across the region and beyond.

The program will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., beginning with an expo and networking session from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Presentations and panel discussions will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Featured speakers include Marty Masiello, President and Chief Executive Officer; Ken Wheat, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Dr. Eric Leroux, Senior Vice President and Chief Quality and Medical Officer; and Kevin Buechele, Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Together, the panel will offer insights into healthcare transformation from both regional and global perspectives.

Topics will include artificial intelligence integration, quality outcomes, strategic planning, and the broader connections between healthcare systems and economic vitality. Organizers at the Chamber say the event is designed to provide business leaders, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and residents with direct access to the executives shaping healthcare strategy in one of the region’s most vital institutions.

“Healthcare is not just a service – it is a foundation for economic vitality and community well-being,” said Katie Slimko, President and CEO of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. “When we bring together executive healthcare leadership and our business community, we create alignment, clarity, and forward momentum. This conversation is about ensuring our Valley remains strong, innovative, and prepared for the future.”

Healthcare remains a cornerstone of quality of life and regional competitiveness, organizers noted. Seats for the event are limited, and advance registration is required.
