Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage has begun a sweeping, $60 million guest room refurbishment that will remake every hotel room at the flagship Greater Palm Springs resort, marking one of the most significant investments in the property’s history.
The multi-phase project will renovate all 340 guest rooms and suites at the resort, introducing redesigned interiors, upgraded technology, and finishes inspired by the surrounding desert landscape and the resort’s cultural roots. Work is already underway and will be completed in stages to keep the hotel fully operational throughout construction.
According to the resort, the refurbished rooms are designed to meet the expectations of today’s leisure and business travelers while preserving the property’s upscale character that has made it a regional landmark. New guest rooms will feature modern, residential-style aesthetics, custom furnishings, and premium bedding. Bathrooms are being fully refreshed with contemporary fixtures and updated finishes, while in-room technology upgrades include smart televisions and enhanced high-speed connectivity.

Energy-efficient lighting and sustainability-minded materials are also part of the scope, reflecting a broader industry shift toward environmentally responsible hospitality design.

This investment allows us to thoughtfully modernize every room while raising the standard for comfort, functionality, and design.”
The refurbishment builds on the resort’s established reputation as one of Greater Palm Springs’ premier destinations. The Rancho Mirage property holds both Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star and AAA Four Diamond ratings and anchors a broader resort complex that includes a 16-story hotel tower, resort-style pools with private cabanas, a large gaming floor, multiple dining venues, and the acclaimed Sunstone Spa, a Forbes Five-Star facility.
