Health-conscious shoppers in Palm Springs have something to look forward to in early November: the grand opening of the city’s first Sprouts Farmers Market. The new store, located at the former Bed Bath & Beyond site at 5200 Ramon Road, is scheduled to open its doors on Friday, November 8. It will offer the array of natural and organic foods that have made Sprouts a favorite nationwide.
Throughout the grand opening weekend, Sprouts will host a variety of events, including food tastings, games, and giveaways. To add excitement, the first 100 customers will receive complimentary reusable tote bags filled with selected items from the store on Friday and Saturday. The store’s introduction will provide Palm Springs residents with a new, nearby source for organic produce, plant-based options, and specialty items catering to keto, paleo, and gluten-free diets.
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Phoenix, Sprouts has grown to more than 380 locations across the United States, including stores in La Quinta and Indian Wells. This reinforces the company’s commitment to providing healthy food options across the Coachella Valley.
The Palm Springs Sprouts will anchor The Springs Shopping Center, which includes Marshalls, Home Depot, and Aldi. This will enhance the area’s retail offerings following the closure of Bed Bath & Beyond due to its parent company’s bankruptcy last year.
