The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce has announced the promotion of Dawn Nygren to vice president of operations.
Ms. Nygren has worked at the Chamber for four years, most recently as director of operations & communications.
As vice president of operations, she will take on a more prominent role in overseeing the chamber’s day-to-day operations. This includes working on and preparing documents for the Chamber’s accreditation application, continuing her financial and bookkeeping responsibilities, and maintaining the order and upkeep of the organization’s membership database and website.
“Dawn is such a kind, generous, and strong leader with expertise in our database, ChamberMaster, operational systems, procedures, solutions, data entry, detailed administrative management, and so much more,” said Katie Stice, President/CEO. “In her tenure, the chamber membership doubled in size, and we’ve reached operational excellence, which everyone will see more of soon as we work to accomplish accreditation. We will be just one of five in the state of California – it is a mighty goal and would not happen without Dawn’s leadership.”
