Copyright and Content License Policy
Last updated September 9, 2026
This policy explains ownership of GPS Business Insider content and the limited rights granted to readers, purchasers, and subscribers.
Ownership
Unless otherwise identified, the website and its original content—including articles, reports, newsletters, analysis, text, charts, tables, graphics, photographs, video, audio, logos, page designs, compilations, and downloadable files—are owned by GPS Business Insider or used with permission and are protected by United States and other applicable intellectual-property laws.
The GPS Business Insider name, GPS Market Monitor name, logos, product names, and related branding are trademarks, service marks, trade names, or other identifiers of GPS or their respective owners. No license to use them is granted except as necessary to identify GPS content accurately.
Public content license
GPS grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access public website content for lawful personal or internal business use. You may:
- link to a public GPS webpage;
- print a reasonable number of copies for personal reference;
- quote brief excerpts for commentary, reporting, scholarship, or internal business use when legally permitted; and
- share the title and public link with others.
When quoting GPS content, identify GPS Business Insider as the source, name the author when shown, identify the report or article, and link to the original public page when practical.
Paid individual license
An individual purchase or subscription grants one named user a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access the paid content covered by the purchase during the applicable access period. The named user may:
- view the content on personal work devices;
- download an authorized PDF for the user’s own reference;
- print a reasonable number of copies for the user’s own reference; and
- use facts learned from the content in the user’s own decision-making, subject to the restrictions below.
An individual license does not permit sharing account credentials, forwarding a full PDF, posting content on a shared drive, distributing copies to coworkers or clients, or granting another person access.
Team license
A team subscription grants access only to the organization and number of assigned users identified in the purchase. Each assigned user must use separate credentials. The team owner occupies one purchased seat.
Authorized team users may discuss the content and use it for the subscribing organization’s internal business purposes. Unless GPS gives written permission, a team license does not permit:
- access by more users than the number of purchased seats;
- access by affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, clients, or other organizations;
- posting full reports to a general intranet or shared drive accessible to unlicensed users;
- external distribution or publication; or
- use of one login by multiple people.
Contact GPS for an expanded enterprise, agency-wide, reprint, or redistribution license.
Limited quotation and internal presentations
You may quote brief portions of GPS content when permitted by law and accompanied by clear attribution. A complete chart, table, page, article, or substantial report excerpt may not be reproduced in an external presentation, publication, marketing material, client deliverable, or public post without written permission.
An authorized subscriber may include limited excerpts or selected factual points in an internal presentation to licensed colleagues when the use does not substitute for purchasing access and includes attribution such as:
“Source: GPS Business Insider, [article or report title], [publication date], gpsbusinessinsider.com.”
Prohibited uses
Without prior written permission, you may not:
- reproduce, republish, upload, transmit, distribute, display, sell, license, or create a commercial substitute from GPS content;
- remove a copyright notice, attribution, watermark, access control, or rights-management information;
- share a paid PDF, protected URL, password, or account;
- systematically download, archive, scrape, crawl, index, harvest, or extract content or data;
- use content to populate a database, data product, competing publication, or subscription service;
- use GPS content as training, grounding, evaluation, retrieval, or development material for an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system;
- use automated summaries or transformations to avoid purchasing an appropriate license;
- frame or mirror the website;
- imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or authorship by GPS; or
- use content in a misleading, defamatory, fraudulent, or unlawful manner.
Ordinary indexing by publicly available search engines is permitted only to the extent authorized by GPS’s technical settings.
Facts public records and third-party material
Copyright does not protect facts themselves. However, GPS’s original selection, coordination, explanation, analysis, visual presentation, and compilation of facts may be protected. Permission to use a fact does not grant permission to copy GPS’s wording, chart, table, design, or substantial compilation.
Some content incorporates public records, government data, licensed photographs, third-party marks, quotations, or other material owned by others. GPS cannot grant rights it does not own. Your use of third-party material may require separate permission.
Complimentary and sample reports
A free, complimentary, or sample report remains protected by copyright. “Free” describes the purchase price, not the scope of the license. Unless the report states otherwise, the same individual-use restrictions apply.
Permission and licensing requests
For reprints, expanded internal distribution, classroom use, public presentations, commercial use, enterprise licensing, data licensing, or other permissions, contact info@gpsmarketintel.com. Describe the content, proposed use, audience, format, number of users or copies, and duration.
Permission is valid only when provided in writing by GPS and may be subject to fees, attribution, usage limits, and other conditions.
User submissions
If you voluntarily submit a letter, comment, correction, photograph, news release, event listing, or other material for possible publication, you represent that you have the necessary rights to submit it. You grant GPS a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, archive, and promote the submitted material in connection with GPS’s editorial and business activities. GPS is not required to publish a submission and may remove it.
Do not submit confidential information or material you are not authorized to provide.
Suspected infringement
To report suspected infringement of GPS content, email info@gpsmarketintel.com. To report material on our website that you believe infringes your copyright, follow the Copyright and DMCA Notice.
Enforcement
GPS may suspend access, revoke a license, preserve relevant records, request removal, invoice for unauthorized use where legally appropriate, or pursue other remedies. Revocation for a material violation does not require a refund except where required by law.
